ABS INDICATOR INOPERATIVE - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY

NOTE: The Instrument Cluster ABS Indicator will not illuminate during the cluster Self Test. The indicator is controlled by PCI Bus messages received from the CAB.
NOTE: The CAB will command the ABS Indicator on when the ignition is cycled to the Run/Start position.
With the DRBIII®, read DTCs.Does the DRBIII® display any ABS DTCs?
  1. Yes : Refer to the BRAKES - ABS article and perform the appropriate symptom.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST .

  2. No : Replace the Instrument Cluster in accordance with the Service Information.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
