ROCK RAIL

REMOVAL

Fig. 13:

1. Remove the bolts and remove the rock rail. (Fig. 13)

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Shims may be used to adjust rock rail positioning, if required.

Fig. 14:

1. Loosen the rear bracket slide bolts. (Fig. 14)
2. Install the rock rail and install the bolts.
3. Tighten the front bolts to 27 N.m (20 ft. lbs.).
4. Slide the rear bracket to contact the mounting surface and tighten the rear mounting bolts to 27 N.m (20 ft. lbs.).
5. Tighten the slide bolts to 27 N.m (20 ft. lbs.).
6. Loosen the end cap bolts and slide the end caps against the body.
7. Tighten the end cap bolts.
