FLIP-UP GLASS LATCH

REMOVAL

Fig. 3:

1. Open liftgate glass.
2. Remove the trim panel.
3. Remove the nuts and remove the latch. (Fig. 3)
4. Disconnect switch electrtical connectors.
5. Remove latch from liftgate.

INSTALLATION
1. Position the latch on the liftgate (Fig. 3).
2. Connect switch electrical connectors.
3. Adjust latch to the proper position, and tighten the nuts to 12 N.m (9 ft. lbs.).
4. Close the glass and verify proper operation.
5. Install the trim panel.
