Test VER-2: Body Verification Test

  1. Remove all test equipment and jumpers. Reconnect all previously disconnected components and connectors. Using DRBIII, clear all DTCs. Cycle ignition switch from ON to OFF position. If BCM was replaced, leave ignition switch in ON position for at least 15 seconds to allow NEW BCM to learn VIN.
  2. Start engine and allow to run for at least 2 minutes. Fully operate system that was malfunctioning. Turn ignition switch to OFF position and wait at least 5 seconds. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using DRBIII, read DTCs. If no DTCs are displayed, repair is complete. If DTCs are displayed, go to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)  table.
