Side Impact Sensors

Side impact sensors are located behind B-pillar trim, near base of B-pillar. Front impact sensors are electronic accelerometers that sense rate of vehicle deceleration, which provides verification of direction and severity of an impact to Air Bag Control Module (ACM).
