Seat Belt Switches

Seat belt switches are integrated with front seat belt buckles. Seat belt switches provide status signals to switch sense inputs of the Air Bag Control Module (ACM). ACM uses seat belt switch inputs as a factor in determining what level of force with which to deploy dual-stage driver- and passenger-side air bags.
