P1492-AMBIENT/BATT TEMP SENSOR VOLTS TOO HIGH

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition key ON.

SET CONDITION
The PCM senses the voltage from the AMBIENT/BATT Temperature Sensor above 4.9 volts for 3 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Intermittent condition
- Ambient/BATT signal circuit short to 12-volts
- Ambient/BATT signal circuit open
- Sensor ground circuit open
- Ambient/BATT temperature sensor
- PCM
