Wiper Switch MUX Circuit Shorted to Ground

SYMPTOM
WIPER SWITCH MUX CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND

WHEN MONITORED
The ignition must be in the run position and battery voltage supplied to the BCM on the Fused B(+) circuit.

SET CONDITION
If the voltage on the wiper switch MUX circuit drops below 0.3 volts for more than 5 seconds the code will set.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Verifying active DTC - wiper switch MUX circuit shorted to ground
- Windshield wiper switch MUX circuit shorted to ground
- Right multi-function switch defective, wiper MUX circuit shorted to ground
- BCM defective-wiper MUX circuit shorted to ground
