Wiper On/Off Relay Shorted High

SYMPTOM
WIPER ON/OFF RELAY SHORTED HIGH

WHEN MONITORED
The ignition must be in the run position and battery voltage supplied to the BCM on the Fused B(+) circuit.

SET CONDITION
If the BCM detects high current on the wiper ON/OFF relay control circuit the code will set.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Verifying active DTC - wiper ON/OFF relay control circuit shorted high
- Wiper ON/OFF relay coil shorted
- Wiper ON/OFF relay control circuit shorted to battery
- BCM defective - wiper ON/OFF relay
