SYMPTOM
NO RIGHT FRONT IMPACT SENSOR COMMUNICATION

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test NO RIGHT FRONT IMPACT SENSOR TEST.

WHEN MONITORED
The ACM continuously communicates with the Right Front Impact Sensor over the sensor signal circuit. The sensor communication and onboard diagnostics are powered by the ACM signal.

SET CONDITION
The code will set, if the ACM and Right Front Sensor do not establish and maintain valid data communications.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Signal circuit shorted to battery
- Signal circuit shorted to ground
- Right sensor circuits shorted together
- Ground circuit open
- Signal circuit open
- ACM, right front impact sensor
- Repair is complete
- Stored code or intermittent condition
- Active code present
