SYMPTOM
AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT SHORT

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
The BCM detects that the Ambient Temperature Sensor signal circuit voltage is below 0.3 volts for 5 seconds or Customer complaint: EVIC temperature display is 55 ° C (130 °).

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Ambient temperature sensor
- Ambient temperature sensor signal circuit shorted to ground
- Ambient temperature sensor signal circuit shorted to sensor return circuit
- Body control module
