SYMPTOM
EVAP TEMP SENSOR SHORTED (MTC & AZC)

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
This DTC is displayed if the BCM detects an abnormally low voltage on the Evaporator Temperature Sensor Signal circuit.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Evaporator temperature sensor
- Evaporator temperature sensor signal circuit shorted to ground
- Evaporator temperature sensor signal circuit shorted to sensor ground circuit
- Body control module
- Wiring harness inspection
