LOW WASHER Indicator Stays Illuminated With Washer Reservoir Full

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect negative battery. Disconnect washer fluid level switch harness connector. If no continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity exists, replace washer fluid level switch.
  2. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check continuity between ground and Black wire terminal at washer fluid level switch harness connector. If no continuity exists, replace washer fluid level switch. If continuity exists, repair short to ground in Black wire between washer fluid level switch and ground point. Ground point is located on left fender side shield, near Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
