WARNING: Accidental air bag deployment is possible. Personal injury may result. Avoid area near steering wheel and instrument panel even if air bags have deployed. Dual-stage air bag modules may be present that could contain an undeployed stage. When disposing of a deployed dual-stage air bag, always treat it as a "live" module. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article.

Replace After Deployment Inspect & If Damaged Replace Component (Even If Air Bag Did Not Deploy) Comments
Deployed air bag modules; Clockspring; Passenger-side air bag door; Headliner(1); A-, B-, C- & D-pillar trim(1); Deployedseat belt pretensioners; Air bag control unit; Side impact sensors; Front impact sensors; Mounting surfaces & mounting brackets for air bag control unit & all sensors; Sunroof drain tubes (if equipped)(); Instrument panel & structural ducts; Air bag module(s); Seat belts & mounting points; If any components are damaged or bent, they must be replaced.; After vehicle is repaired, ensure AIR BAG warning light is functioning properly.;
(1) If head air bag has deployed.

Deployed air bag modules; Clockspring; Instrument panel top pad(1); Door trim panel(2); Deployedseat belt pretensioners; Occupant restraint controller (air bag control unit); Side impact sensors; Mounting surfaces & mounting brackets for air bag control unit & all sensors; Instrument panel & structural ducts; Air bag module(s); Seat belts & mounting points; All other vehicle components should be closely inspected following any air bag deployment, but replaced only as required by the visable damage incurred.;
(1) If passenger-side air bag has deployed.
(2) If side air bag has deployed.

Deployed air bag modules; Clockspring(1); Steering Wheel(1); Deployed seat belt pretensioners (if equipped); Air bag control unit mounting bracket and-or mounting surface; All other air bag and vehicle components should be closely inspected following any air bag deployment, and should be replaced if visible damage is incurred.; All other vehicle components should be closely inspected following any air bag deployment, but replaced only as required by the visable damage incurred.;
(1) If driver-side air bag has deployed.
