Test 3A: No Response From Instrument Cluster

  1. Access and disconnect instrument cluster. Connect fused jumper wire between ground and Green instrument cluster harness connector terminal No. 2 (Violet-Brown wire; CCD + circuit). Using DRB, perform CCD Bus Test. If DRB displays BUS SHORT TO GROUND, go to next step. If DRB does not display BUS SHORT TO GROUND, repair open in Violet-Brown wire.
  2. Connect fused jumper wire between ground and Green instrument cluster harness connector terminal No. 1 (White-Black wire; CCD - circuit). Using DRB, perform CCD Bus Test. If DRB displays BUS SHORT TO GROUND, replace instrument cluster. If DRB does not display BUS SHORT TO GROUND, repair open in White-Black wire.
