Bleeding Brake System: Notes
CAUTION:
DO NOT allow brake fluid to contact painted surfaces. Brake fluid spills must be cleaned up immediately or damage to vehicle finish will result.
NOTE:
Brake bleeding procedures for models with anti-lock brakes are not covered in this article. See appropriate
ANTI-LOCK article for proper procedure.
NOTE:
Use only clean brake fluid meeting DOT 3 specifications on either standard or ABS brakes.
NOTE:
Manufacturer does not provide brake system bleeding information using power or vacuum bleeding equipment. Follow the brake bleeder manufacturer's instructions carefully when using bleeding equipment.
