Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove trim panel below instrument panel. Remove knee bolster. Using a trim stick, gently pry instrument panel center bezel away from instrument panel to release 6 snap clip retainers. Remove center bezel from vehicle. Pull headlight switch knob to on position. Depress headlight switch release button and remove headlight switch knob and shaft. See Fig 1 .
  2. Disengage 2 ends of steering column sight shield from each other at connector located below the lower steering column cover. See Fig 2 Set tilt steering column (if equipped) to its lowest position. Remove 4 screws behind instrument cluster bezel that retain bezel to instrument panel. Using a trim stick, gently pry around perimeter of instrument cluster bezel and remove bezel.
