Vehicle Speed Sensor

Vehicle speed sensor is located in speedometer. See Fig 1 . Connect ohmmeter across reed switch terminals and rotate speedometer cable. See Fig 2 .
Ohmmeter reading should fluctuate between continuity and no continuity when speedometer is rotated. Replace vehicle speed sensor if it does not test as described.
