Purge Control Valve (2.0L Turbo)

- Remove purge control valve. Lightly blow air into purge control valve fitting "D". See Fig 1 . Ensure air does not blow through to fitting "C".
- Using a hand-held vacuum pump, apply 8 in. Hg vacuum to fitting "A". Lightly blow air into purge control valve fitting "D". Ensure air blows through to fitting "C".
- Apply 16 in. Hg vacuum, in turn, to fitting "A" and fitting "B". See Fig 1 . Ensure vacuum holds both times. Replace purge control valve if it does not test as described.
