Test 19A - Right Front Inlet Valve

  1. Using DRB, read fault messages. If MAIN RELAY/POWER CIRCUIT FAILURE is displayed, go to TEST 14A. If MAIN RELAY/POWER CIRCUIT FAILURE is not displayed, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect CAB from HCU. See Figure. Inspect 14-pin connection. If 14-pin connection is faulty, repair as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1A. If valve block connector terminals are pushed-out, replace HCU. Perform TEST VER-1A. If connection is okay, go to next step.
  3. Using an external ohmmeter, measure resistance between valve block connector terminals No. 6 and 7. See Figure. If resistance is not 5-8 ohms, replace HCU. Perform TEST VER-1A. If resistance is 5-8 ohms, replace CAB. Perform TEST VER-1A.
