Hydraulic Control Unit: Installation

- Install HCU in vehicle. Install, but DO NOT tighten, HCU bracket bolts. Tighten HCU bracket-to-frame rail bolts to 14 ft. lbs. (19 N.m). Tighten HCU bracket-to-fender bolt to 18 INCH lbs.(2 N.m). Install and tighten brake fluid tubes to 14 ft. lbs. (19 N.m).
- Ensure ignition is off. Reconnect electrical connectors. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM. Install acid shield and battery tray. Install battery, and connect battery cables.
