Hydraulic Control Unit Reservoir: Installation

Lubricate HCU bushings and reservoir nipples with clean brake fluid. Place reservoir nipples in HCU bushings and rock reservoir back and forth, while pushing down on reservoir, until hole in reservoir is in line with retaining pin hole in pump housing.
On models without LTCS, drive retaining pin from bottom of pump housing until pin extends above retaining hole in reservoir. On models with LTCS, drive pin from top of pump housing. On all models, install HCU in vehicle. See HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
