Left & Right Impact Sensors: Removal

- Before proceeding, see SERVICE PRECAUTIONS. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
- Impact sensors are mounted on headlight carrier surface on left and right sides of vehicle. See Figure . Removal procedure for left and right sensors are same. Remove 2 headlight pins and headlight.
- Remove 4 headlight fasteners and headlight carrier. Remove 3 screws attaching impact sensor to headlight carrier surface. Remove impact sensor. Disconnect impact sensor connector.
