Motor Will Run At One Speed, But Not Both

  1. If motor will not run on high speed, set switch in HIGH position, and connect test light between motor terminal No. 4 and ground. See Figure . If motor will not run on low speed, set switch in LOW position, and connect test light between motor terminal No. 3 and ground.
  2. If test light does not glow in either test, an open circuit exists in switch or wiring for respective circuit. If test light glows and motor is inoperative in respective switch position, replace motor.
