Lock Cylinder: Installation

- Ensure lock cylinder and ignition switch are in LOCK position before installing. Slide lock cylinder into position until it bottoms in ignition switch. Insert ignition key.
- While pushing inward on key and lock cylinder, rotate key/lock cylinder to START position and then back to LOCK position. If key and lock cylinder do not operate correctly, repeat procedure, pushing inward on key and cylinder while rotating it.
- Lock cylinder is correctly installed when retaining pin is visible in slot on ignition switch. See Figure . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
