Test 3B: Antilock Lamp Circuit

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  1. Disconnect ABS relay. See Figure. If anti-lock warning light does not glow continuously, go to TEST 16A. If anti-lock warning light glows continuously, go to next step.
  2. Using DRB, read ANTILOCK LAMP I/O state. If DRB displays ANTILOCK LAMP ON, go to TEST 1A. If DRB displays ANTILOCK LAMP OFF, go to next step.
  3. Disconnect CAB 60-pin connector. See Figure. If anti-lock warning light glows, repair short to ground in Light Green/Orange wire. Perform TEST VER-1A: SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST . If anti-lock warning light does not glow, replace CAB. Perform TEST VER-1A: SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST .
