Test 16C: System Relay Circuit

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  1. Ensure ABS relay connector is connected. Using DRB, erase all fault messages. Turn ignition off and then on. Using DRB, read fault messages. If DRB does not display SYSTEM RELAY CIRCUIT, system relay circuit is operating properly at this time. Perform TEST VER-1A: SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST . If DRB displays SYSTEM RELAY CIRCUIT, go to next step.
  2. Exchange ABS relay with any other like relay. Using DRB, erase all fault messages. Turn ignition off and then on. Using DRB, read fault messages. If DRB displays SYSTEM RELAY CIRCUIT, replace CAB. Perform TEST VER-1A: SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST . If DRB does not display SYSTEM RELAY CIRCUIT, system relay circuit is now operating properly. Replace ABS relay. Perform TEST VER-1A: SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST .
