Transmission Control Module (TCM): Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. From engine compartment, remove TCM attaching nuts that secures retaining plate and the TCM to the bulkhead. See Figure .
  2. From below driver's side of instrument panel, lower TCM until harness connector is accessible. Lift release tab on harness connector upward. See Figure . Disconnect harness connector from TCM.
