Park Interlock Cable

  1. Shift transmission to Park position. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Remove outer console bezel to access cable adjustment. Pull cable lock button up to release cable. See Fig 1. Pull cable forward and release.
  2. Snap lock button into place. Verify adjustment by attempting to move shifter. Shifter should not move. Turn ignition on. Move shifter to Neutral. If ignition switch cannot be turned to LOCK position, adjustment is okay. Repeat this step with shifter in Drive.
