30RH & 32RH Transmissions

  1. On 30RH, tighten front band adjusting screw to 72 INCH lbs. (8.1 N.m). Loosen front band adjusting screw 2 1/2 turns. See Figure. Tighten lock nut on front band adjusting screw to specification .
  2. On 32RH, tighten front band adjusting screw to 72 INCH lbs. (8.1 N.m). Loosen front band adjusting screw 2 1/4 turns on 1995 Cherokee and Wrangler or 2 1/2 turns on all other models. On all models, tighten lock nut on front band adjusting screw to specification.
