Parking/Emergency Brake

Parking brake is self-adjusting. When parking brake pedal mechanism is in its released (upward) position, a clock spring automatically adjusts parking brake cable. Due to automatic adjust feature of parking brake cable, proper drum brake shoe adjustment is critical. See DRUM BRAKE SHOE.
