Removal (Steering Knuckle-Mounted Caliper)

- Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheels. Remove caliper-to-knuckle guide pin bolts. Pull lower end of caliper out from machined abutment on steering knuckle, and roll caliper out and away from brake disc. Pad assemblies will remain with caliper.
- Remove outboard pad by prying between pad and caliper assembly. Remove inboard pad by pulling pad and lining assembly away from piston. Compress caliper piston if new pads are to be installed.
