Test 15C - Testing OTIS Switches

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS . Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.

CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector.

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Leave key in ignition switch. Open left front door. If chime does not sound, go to TEST 35J . If chime sounds, go to next step.
Turn ignition switch to ON position. Close left front door. Press each OTIS button and listen for beep. If beep is not heard, replace OTIS module. If beep is heard, switches are working properly at this time.
