Headlight Dimmer Switch

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove tilt lever (if equipped). Remove upper and lower steering column trim covers. Remover knee blocker. Remove lower fixed column shroud. Loosen, DO NOT remove, steering column upper bracket nuts.
- Move upper fixed column shroud to gain access to rear of multifunction switch. Remove switch connector. Using ohmmeter, check for continuity in turn signal and hazard warning terminals of multifunction switch with switch turned to indicated positions. See DIMMER SWITCH CONTINUITY . If continuity is not as specified, replace multifunction switch as an assembly. See Fig 1 and Figure .
