Test VER-1A - Verification Test

Ensure all doors, hood and liftgate are closed. Open driver's door. Remove ignition key and keep it in hand. Using power door lock switch, lock all doors. Close driver's door. If instrument panel Vehicle Theft Alarm (VTA) indicator light flashes, system is operational and verified. If VTA indicator light does not flash, 20 engine start cycles have not occurred or VTA system is malfunctioning. If VTA indicator light is not flashing, go to TEST 1A  . If VTA indicator light is flashing, VTA system is functioning properly
