Check for damaged park/neutral switch or wiring causing, loss of park/neutral input to PCM, defective engine coolant temp. sensor, transmission fluid temp. sensor or switches (if equipped) or vehicle speed sensor. Also check for defective overdrive solenoid or wiring circuit, defective overdrive switch, wiring circuit or fuse, defective Powertrain Control Module (PCM), low hydraulic pressure, overdrive piston seals damaged or wrong spacer, overdrive solenoid supply orifice in valve body restricted, overdrive switch in OFF position.
