Hydraulic Pressure Test Preparation

- Ensure fluid level and condition are okay. Install tachometer. Raise vehicle on hoist, allowing wheels to rotate freely.
- Disconnect throttle valve and shift cables or linkages from throttle valve and manual selector lever on the transmission.
CAUTION:
A 100 psi (7 kg/cm2
) pressure gauge is required for checking all applications except rear servo and overdrive clutch. A 300 psi (21 kg/cm2
) pressure gauge is required for checking pressure at rear servo and overdrive clutch.
