Instrument Panel Lights Inoperative

  1. Check fuse No. 24 in fuse block module. Replace fuse if blown. If fuse is not blown, go to next step.
  2. Remove dash pad and cluster assembly. Install jumper wire from cluster connector cavity D12 to a 12-volt battery feed. If lights do not illuminate, replace bulbs. If lights come on, see test in the appropriate TESTS W/CODES article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.
NOTE: Fuel gauge and low fuel warning indicator use same wire. If either component is incorrect, the other component MUST also be incorrect. To replace low fuel module, replace tachometer.
