Test 2B - Diagnosing Headlight On Input To Traveler

NOTE:
For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION table. For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS. After each repair, perform TEST VER-1.
- Using DRB, read headlight switch status. Disconnect headlight switch 2-pin connector. If DRB does not display CIRCUIT CLOSED, replace headlight switch. If DRB displays CIRCUIT CLOSED, go to next step.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Reconnect headlight switch 2-pin connector. Disconnect traveler module 7-pin connector. See Figure . Using DRB in voltmeter mode, check voltage on traveler module 7-pin connector terminal No. 4 (Yellow/Black wire). If voltage is more than one volt, repair short to battery in Yellow/Black wire. If voltage is less than one volt, replace traveler module.
