Reassembly & Installation

To reassemble, reverse disassembly procedure. Install NEW relief valve retainer cap and oil seal ring. Tighten pump cover bolts. Fill rotor cavity with engine oil before installing. To install, reverse removal procedure.

CAUTION: Ensure oil pump fully engages with distributor drive shaft before tightening bolt. It may be necessary to slightly rotate oil pump during installation to align with distributor drive shaft.
