Removal & Installation

Remove timing belt. See TIMING BELT under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Drain cooling system. Remove bolts, water pump, gasket and "O" ring on coolant inlet pipe.
To install, reverse removal procedure using NEW "O" ring and NEW gasket. Apply water to "O" ring before installing water pump. DO NOT apply grease to "O" ring. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure. Fill cooling system.
