Bleeding Brake System: Notes
CAUTION:
DO NOT allow brake fluid to contact painted surfaces. Brake fluid spills must be cleaned up immediately because brake fluid will loosen and lift paint from vehicle.
NOTE:
Brake bleeding procedures for models with anti-lock brakes are not covered in this article. See the ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM
article for proper procedure.
NOTE:
Use only clean brake fluid meeting SAE J1703-F and DOT 3 standards on either standard or ABS brakes.
