Rod Bearing: Removal

Remove oil pan. See OIL PAN REMOVAL article. Rotate crankshaft to position rod to be serviced at bottom of stroke. Mark bearing cap and connecting rod. Remove bearing cap with bearing. Push piston and rod assembly up to remove upper bearing.
