Piston Pin: Inspection

Measure piston pin diameter, piston bore and connecting rod bores. Replace components if not within specification. See ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS tables at end of this article.

NOTE: Connecting rod must be positioned on piston so oil squirt hole faces camshaft side of engine when piston is installed with arrow toward front of engine.
