Hydraulic Valve Lifters: Inspection

Inspect lifter and camshaft mating surfaces for wear. Check cylinder block lifter bore diameter. Lifter bore diameter should be within specification. See appropriate table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS at end of this article. Replace parts as required.
