Fuel Pressure Release (4.0L)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove fuel tank filler cap to release fuel tank pressure.
  2. Remove cap from pressure test port on fuel rail. Place towels under fuel pressure test port. Using an appropriate tool, push test port valve in to relieve fuel pressure. Reinstall fuel tank filler cap and pressure test port cap.
