Cherokee, Comanche & Wagoneer

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove 4 instrument panel bezel attaching screws and unsnap instrument panel bezel. See Fig 1. Remove cigarette lighter housing attaching screws. Remove switch housing attaching screws. See Fig 2.
Remove instrument panel cluster attaching screws. Raise and support vehicle. Carefully remove spring nut holding speedometer cable in position on driver's side upper control arm bolt. Disconnect speedometer cable. Pull out cluster assembly far enough to disconnect 2 multiple plugs and remove instrument cluster. See Figure through Figure . To install, reverse removal procedure.
