Upshift Indicator - Inoperative

Ignition in RUN, Parking brake ON, Transmission in first gear.

(2.5L) Test Jumper D2-1 to ground. If lamp lights, system is OK, test ECU. If it does not light, test jumper upshift switch connector terminal A to ground. If lamp lights and switch is OK, repair open to ECU. If lamp does not light and buld is OK, repair open to indicator.

(4.0L) Test jumper D2-11 to ground. If lamp light, system is OK, test ECU. If lamp does not light and bulb is OK, repair open to indicator.
