Piston & Rod Assembly: Removal

Remove cylinder head and oil pan. Remove ridge from top end of cylinder bore. Mark connecting rods and caps for cylinder identification. Remove connecting rod bearing cap and bearings. Push piston with rod assembly out top of cylinder block. Install rod cap on mating rod. Mark bearings if they are to be reused.
