Cleaning & Inspection
- Clean all parts with brake cleaning solvent. Blow dry parts with dry, filtered air. Examine parts for rust, corrosion, pitting, scratches, or cracks. Replace piston if it is damaged or corroded.
- Minor stains on piston bore can be polished with crocus cloth. Do not use emery cloth or any other abrasive. Wash bore thoroughly with brake fluid after using crocus cloth. Replace caliper if bore is damaged or corroded.
